What you can expect when you come to VETMED, is an exceptional clean and modern facility with friendly staff who provide excellence in customer service. The environment is comfortable not only for you, but also your pet. Our waiting area is very spacious allowing for separation of pets when necessary.
When your veterinarian feels that your pet needs a more extensive evaluation, he may refer you to one of our veterinary specialists. Typically general practice veterinarians do not have in-depth of knowledge in specialty areas such as cardiology, radiology, internal medicine and surgery. So when your pet's condition is difficult to diagnose, we are here to help.
Our staff provides unequaled patient care whether your pet is coming for an outpatient exam or to be hospitalized overnight. Our staff of veterinary technicians are highly trained and compassionate professionals. Your pet is their primary focus. We provide in-service continuing education programs to keep their skills finely tuned.
About VetMed
VETMED offers a multidisciplinary veterinary referral service to Arizona veterinarians and their clients. We have specialists in cardiology, internal medicine, radiology, and surgery.
Our multidisciplinary approach allows for continuity of care which enables optimal patient assessment and treatment. We also provide 24-hour care for our patients that need to be hospitalized.
Our philosophy is to provide our clinicians with state-of-the-art equipment allowing them to obtain the most accurate diagnostic information available today. Prime examples include our cardiac catheterization laboratory, lithotripsy machine, digital radiography, ultrasound and our collaboration with veterinary experts around the country.
We now provide state-of-the-art 4-slice CT scans for our patients.
